Finding a California Real Estate Agent
The Key to a successful relocation, is
finding an experienced and ethical Real
Estate agent to sell your current home
and help you purchase a new home.
This can be difficult if you are under time
pressure to move, and are unfamiliar with
the new location.

The process of finding a good agent depends on
many things, and in our discussion with you we
will cover:
• Where are you moving from and where are you
moving to?
• What is your time frame?
• What price ranges are you considering? This
question is important, because many real estate
agents specialize in entry-level homes first-time
buyers, others focus on the high end ($1M plus).
If you ask an agent yourself whether if they can
help you, most will say yes -- even if you are
outside their focus. We can check their experience
and/or talk to their broker to find a fit.
• What type of property, are you looking for?
Again, agents specialize. Some handle city high-
rise condos, others handle second homes, some
focus on high-end estates, others on country
properties. Although a licensed agent can legally
handle any of these transactions, few have the
expertise to do everything well.
• We can also help you determine what you can
afford, and get pre-qualified for a loan. In the hot
real estate market that exists in many parts of
California, it is almost a necessity to be pre-
qualified to have your purchase offer accepted.
